Jeff sold us our house about 8 years ago. He represented the seller, but was so kind to us, offering to help us settle into this new area . Jeff was referred to us when we were searching for our house after we got married. We were looking in the downriver area, which is quite a hike from South Lyon, but Jeff met with us every Saturday until we found the right fit. We were first time home buyers and were worried about working with someone trust worthy. When Jeff shows you a house, his role is mostly advisory. He doesn't try to sell you one way or another, he will look at the house, tell you what looks good and what could be a red flag or costly repair down the road. He will be straight forward and honest with you, telling you exactly what's going to happen before it does. If I tried to get a hold of Jeff via phone or e-mail I don't remember waiting any longer than 20 minutes for a response. Doesn't matter where you live in the area, Jeff covers more area than any other real estate agent, according to our home inspector, and peace of mind when making such a long term, costly investment is extremely important.

Jeff was a great help to us, both in finding our new home and in selling our old one (in a very bad market). We love where we have lived the past 9 years. Jeff knew what we were looking for and pointed us to a great house as soon as it came on the market. As for our other house, it was difficult to sell, and it took a couple of years to finally get it done, but Jeff worked with us through it all, communicated well with us, gave us useful advice, and finally got the job done. Jeff's style really fit me. I stumbled into him, he was actually a referral from the finance company I was dealing with. I was quite pleased with how he does business. He isn't pushy or flashy, and his no-nonsense demeanor greatly cut down on the time needed to find a home. His expertise in government loan guarantee programs ensured I didn't waste time on a home that wouldn't make it past underwriting was invaluable. My financing was difficult, Jeff spent hours running down details, such as the model of the wood stove that was in the house. When push came to shove at closing time and it became apparent that the finance company didn't have the figures quite right, Jeff was right there to put a boot in a behind and do what it takes to close this protracted deal. Even the closing specialist at the title company remarked on how much she appreciated his no-nonsense approach.The most amazing part for me is that I'm a regular, blue collar guy who bought an entry level home for less than $200K, not a McMansion with a more attractive commission. This indicates a high degree of integrity to the trade standards and I appreciate it. I would refer any of my friends and associates to Jeff. He is an excellent buyer's agent for busy people.
